FITNESS TRAINING CLASSES - Basic, Foundation and Motivational
classes which are included in your membership at all
times
As a member
you are offered scheduled fitness appointments with
our Certified Personal trainers in the Fitness Training
Classes. While it is important to know that these
classes are always available to you, attendance in
the first 6 weeks of your new fitness program is extremely
important. You need to establish the GOOD habit of
fitness in this time. During these visits the personal
trainers will take a health history and establish
a statement of goals. At this time a plan will be
outlined for you. Listed below are other areas of
fitness that can be addressed during these trainings
depending upon your needs. Please come to your appointments
dressed to work out (fitness attire — fitness
shoes).
• Target Heart Rate — the heart rate zone that will
promote the maximum benefit for your workout
• 1st Circuit Training — demonstration — seat heights
adjusted, lifting guidelines and weight suggestions
• All equipment locations explained — lower body,
upper body, abs, etc...
• Cardiovascular Machines — programming and proper
form
• Group Exercise Classes — explanation and starting
class suggestions
• Free Weight Equipment — form and function explained
• Cardiovascular Warm-Up — explanation of the importance
at each work out
• Stretching Exercises — Stretching is very important
and often ignored — let us show you some basic stretches
and introduce you to our Yoga classes
• Fitness Tracking Cards — explanation and location
• Body Composition — measured by Skyndex, skin fold
caliper
• Nutrition Coaching

— Remember our professionals are here for you.
We sometimes have a waiting list for these classes,
therefore in the event that the appointment
can't be kept please give at least 6 hours notice
of cancellation.

training - One of our personal trainers took you through
your Fitness Training Classes and we trust that they

focus on individualized nutrition coaching, motivation,
sports specific training, goal setting and tracking
and much more. Please see the member service desk
